· Summertime Frolickings ·

Hullo, me hearties.

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the incredible reception the latest Through Waves single, "Que Diferença Um Ano Faz" had. I truly appreciate the open arms, and I am cherising fondly not having to deal with it and the album "Schadenfreude" anymore. Thank you for taking care of these precious works, so I won't have to.

I would also like to point out that the first press of the regular edition jewelcase 2CD "Schadenfreude" album is presently unavailable, but I will press more copies somewhere around the middle of the year. I apologize the delay, but that actually brings me to the main subject of this post. As some of you might know, I announced some time ago on Through Waves' Facebook Page that I was entertaining the idea of making the 2012 fan-favourite album "Santuário" available once again as CD, since the original limited edition boxset (this precious gem here) is sold-out for a while now, and people seem to visit this album with a surprising frequency; and finally, since I myself am quite fond of the recording, as I believe it portraits adequately what Through Waves is, the whole thought is a thrilling one. So I intend to have this regular edition CD, in a cheaper physical format, available in March, when the season change. You will be able to purchase the copies via Through Waves' Bandcamp, or by sending an email requesting the album to throughwaves@throughwaves.com (payment via PayPal if you're outside of Brazil, and by bank deposit if you're here), or even in person with me, when I am out in the streets busking with my hurdy-gurdy.

Now, concerning new projects, I am displeased to announce that I am in fact working on new music, but I have no plans on releasing a new album this year. However, there is a collection of old songs which are floating around my personal files for a while now, and I decided it is the proper time to make them available, specially since they are not a part of any album-context, and are quite few in number. Thus, for this year of 2014, expect a new (and hopefully THE LAST) EP, containing 8 songs, recorded during the years of 2011 and 2013. This EP will come out after August, so keep an eye on the Facebook Page for more information.

I have nothing more to report, so I will attend other of my extraordinary offices for the moment. Take good care, my dear friends.

Fondly,
